The information needed for a clear, comparable quotation.
One part per line
Use a separate line for every component. Include the OE number, description, vehicle model and quantity so there is no ambiguity across a mixed order.
Describe the vehicle
Add model year, powertrain and market. Where a supplier needs more configuration detail, share vehicle identification privately through the sales contact.
Provide useful photographs
Label, connector and mounting-point photos can explain a variant better than a short description. Ask for the same views of the proposed item.
State the commercial requirements
Confirm the desired brand or grade, packaging and delivery destination. Ask for availability and lead time for each line rather than assuming all items are ready.
Review differences explicitly
Put alternatives, substitutions and unavailable lines in separate groups. Approve each change before it becomes part of the final order.
Save the agreed version
Keep a dated list with quantities, item references and commercial terms. Use that version when comparing the shipment with the order.
